Jenna Bealer, Master of Science in Midwifery (MSM), Certified Professional Midwife (CPM), Licensed Direct Entry Midwife (LDM) and Clinical Herbalist

Jenna Bealer made Salem, Oregon her home in March 2023 when she joined our team as a staff midwife. She is originally from Colorado, but most recently lived in Washington State and then Boise Idaho, where she previously practiced midwifery at another free-standing birth center.

Being the 9th of 10 children in her family, Jenna holds a special connection to the world of childbirth. She was her mom’s only child born in a birth center with an OB. Jenna has always loved being around children and babies, which is a good thing since she has 29 nieces and nephews! In fact, Jenna was introduced to midwifery care while attending the home birth of her niece, who is now 14.

Jenna's appreciation for midwifery care deepened as she delved into the intricacies of the medical system, recognizing its importance and distinctiveness from standard OB care. This realization prompted her move to Washington state after earning her Health Science degree from BYU-I, with aspirations to enroll at Bastyr University. In March 2022, Jenna successfully graduated from Bastyr University with a Masters of Science in Midwifery, emphasizing her studies in a Botanical Medicine program tailored to women's health and the childbearing years.

When not in clinic or attending births Jenna enjoys spending time with family and friends, and recently re-discovered quilting and crocheting. She also loves to bake treats and sourdough bread.
